... It’s a collaborative effort that challenges assumptions, brings self-awareness to the surface, and ultimately informs essential decisions. From there, I help dreams become a visible, tangible reality.
The work I do is not done half-hazardly; my aim is to guide individuals to help them understand themselves, their target consumers, and ultimately, their brand.
The discovery process is the initial stage of any client project. The objective of the discovery process is to define goals, identify challenges, identify consumers, and define the brand. The client and I then discuss which deliverables make the most sense for their brand.
Stylescapes are a window into the target look and feel of a brand, condensed into a landscape PDF. They showcase different typefaces, color palettes, photography, and illustrative/icon work. Once the client approves of the stylescape, I move forward with the logo process.
In this stage, I develop many iterations, but ultimately land on three. These logos are composed of an identity system, and scale from a complete mark to an icon. Once the client decides on a direction, revisions are made, and then the logo is finalized.
Deliverables typically include templates for letterheads, business cards, a webpage mockup, and always a CI guide. This allows clients to have clear guidelines as to how they can produce what they produce. This keeps bad design out. At the end of the day, CI guides help preserve the integrity of the brand as a whole.
